Khloe Kardashian Reached 203 Pounds After Pregnancy! Here’s How She Got Her Body Back

Pregnancy is such a wonderful and amazing journey for parents, but it is perhaps even more special for the mother, who will carry the bundle of joy for nine months.

In that span, the woman’s body goes through a lot of changes as it adjusts to give life to another human inside the womb.

Pregnancy was a memorable experience for Khloe

As the baby slowly grows over the course of nine months, pregnant women start showing certain signs such as an obvious belly bump as well as stretch marks as their skin stretches to accommodate the growing bun in the oven. That said, it is expected for women to gain weight as they get closer to their due date.

Weight Gain During Pregnancy

For many new mums, post-pregnancy weight gain is an issue, but motherhood is such a precious milestone that it makes all the pain and trouble worth it.

According to WebMD, women with a healthy weight before pregnancy should expect to gain from 25 to 30 pounds; those who are underweight should gain 28 to 40 pounds, whereas overweight, 15 to 25 pounds.

This estimation can depend on a number of factors such as the number of babies they are expecting, their diet, lifestyle and more. But how long will it take for you to shed the extra weight after giving birth?

Misconception

For reality star Khloe Kardashian, she learned that her skewed thought that the baby weight will come right off after birth was definitely just a misconstrued perception.

She and her ex Tristan Thompson welcomed their healthy baby girl True in April last year, and she admitted that going home from the hospital, she was shocked that what she initially expected didn’t happen.

The Good American Jeans founder was more than determined to get back to her pre-pregnancy physique as soon as possible, so when the doctors finally gave her the green light, she was more than ready to hit the gym and sweat it out. However, physically, she just wasn’t ready, and she found herself struggling to meet her goals.

Taking It Slowly

The highest she weighed was at 203 pounds, so despite feeling bad for not being able to move, Khloe didn’t beat herself up. Instead, she learned to use this to her advantage by taking it in and acknowledging that she couldn’t get what she wants in a blink of an eye. The 35-year-old shared that she took things slowly, day by day.

By not being too hard on herself, Khloe said she felt really good about the whole process. In fact, at her youngest sister Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday, the “Revenge Body” star admitted she was proud of what she had achieved. And she showed off the fruit of her labor in a crop top and high-waisted bottoms, despite feeling that she wasn’t her slimmest.

The biggest takeaway, perhaps, is just to be a little easy on yourself during the process and not lose hope so quickly even if you make mistakes. The reality star urges her followers to be kinder to themselves no matter what.

Khloe suggests giving yourself at least 12 months to shed the extra pounds because you did gain those in nine months. She also pointed out that you need to balance things since you will need to juggle your life, a baby, and many others.
